Sugar and Sweetener Imbalance
Did you know that the body is made up of around 60 chemicals, each of which have a different purpose. The main elements of Oxygen, Hydrogen, Carbon and Nitrogen make up 96% of our form. This is where we see the importance of drinking water.
The fact is that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Much like a car, the more effort we take in maintaining our bodies and keeping it in shape, consuming the right quantities of the right things, the less likely we are to have nasty and expensive problems when going for a checkup.
The common ingredients that help you to process the food that you eat are bacteria and yeast. Of the 25 trillion bacteria that live in a healthy stomach 80% of those are good and 20% bad. What happens when sugar comes into contact with the yeast named Candida is that it multiplies.
Candida thrives on sugar and artificial sweeteners, so as a result of a ‘sweet tooth’ there is an imbalance where Candida takes over the stomach and intestines. As this increases so does your craving for another sugar binge and eating more junk food to make you feel better.
When you take antibiotics to counteract those symptoms related to sugar overdose they kill off even more of the good bacteria and worsens the health issues. The specialists in digestive health call this SIBO (Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth).

The Sugar Industry
Back in 1808 there were experiments carried out on farmyard animals to see how they would benefit from being fed on sugar. All those animals died. Another experiment was made feeding dogs nothing but water. The dog that was given plain water lasted longer than the one fed on sugar water.
In the 1950’s it was discovered that people with high fat diets had a high statistic of heart attacks. Even though it was widely believed that just by lowering the level of flat that this would be enough, the product was less tasty.
Industry therefore increased the amount of sugar in processed food to provide that extra flavoring. What has been discovered most recently is that sugar is as addictive as cocaine, and is the main cause of obesity as craving for those processed foods increase.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Sweeteners such as Aspartame were allowed on the market despite clear evidence that animals showed signs of Cancerous Tumors throughout their bodies. This can be found in many popular fizzy drinks on the market now. If all this looks very familiar with what you are going through then it would be well worth looking at going on a sugar detox.
The Modified Sugar Range
- Brown Rice Syrup
- Evaporated Cane Juice
- Malt Syrup
Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy
Keeping within the Recommended Daily Intake is very important, particularly where sugar is concerned. Cutting out those sugar laden foods from your shopping list and replacing them with natural food such as fruit and vegetables is the way forward if you want to lose weight and break the cycle of sugar addiction and the amount of junk food you consume. When the food and sugar addiction is allowed to continue for years some people have resorted to extreme weight loss programs.
